在玩FPS遊戲時，我們會不可避免遇到Frag這個詞。那麼它在遊戲中是什麼意思呢？
一. 道具Frag
Frag/Frag Grenade是Fragmentation Grenade的縮寫，是「破片手雷」的意思。
二. I frag someone. /I get fragged.
這個例子中，Frag是擊殺的意思，跟Kill沒區別。
「To wound or kill (a fellow soldier) by throwing a grenade or similar explosive at the victim」
這個詞來源於越南戰爭，用來描述謀殺自己軍隊成員或指揮官的行為。越南戰爭是理想混亂、思想衝突的一個時期，為了做正確的事情，導致了軍隊內部的大量內訌。
當理想變得過於壓抑時，一些士兵決定將正義掌握在自己手中。因為子彈很容易追蹤，短兵相接也會留下證據，所以榴彈成為了作案工具。
還有種說法可以追述到「Gibs」的解釋：
「Gibs, short for giblets, is a humorous term referring to the variably-sized body parts ("guts"), fragments, and offal produced when non-player characters or game players are damaged or killed in video games.」

三. Frag Kill
Frag Kill是「kill another player with a grenade」，因此是手雷擊殺的意思。
四. Entry Fragging
Entry Fragging是「Being the first one into a room/objective and killing the 1st player they see」是指第一個進房間並獲得第一個擊殺的行為。
First Fragger是指隊伍上擊殺數最多的玩家，Bottom Fragger是隊伍上擊殺數最少的玩家。
